Where Burr Ridge Gathers
Bridewell Tavern is the vision of three longtime Burr Ridge residents and owners of Bar Poca Madre, Nabuki, La Cantina Grill and Pronto Italian Sandwiches—John Mauro, Peter Burdi, and Michael Havey. United by their shared roots and passion for hospitality, they set out to create an elevated yet relaxed American tavern where high-quality drinks, thoughtfully curated wines, and delicious food take center stage. Whether you’re catching the big game with friends, enjoying a girls’ night out, sharing a family dinner, or hosting a private event, Bridewell Tavern delivers a welcoming space suited to any occasion.
Inspired by Local History
The name pays homage to a piece of local history: the land and surrounding area was once part of Bridewell Farm, which operated from 1917 through the mid-20th century. Today, we honor the local past, while building a new tradition of good times, great vibes, and community connection right here in Burr Ridge.
